As a continuation of Safer Internet Day, on February 19th in Piotr Skarga’s secondary school in Grójec there was a presentation combined with workshops on safe Internet use.
The workshop was conducted by a lecturer from Polish-Japanese University of Technology, MSc. Armand Stańczak. It was connected with the latest technologies used by the largest international corporations. In respect of our privacy, the students learned what the dangers associated with the use of the Internet are, and what the future lacking in privacy might look like. Interesting facts from the world of science, facts concerning the use of the Internet and the possible consequences of the reckless use of social networking sites have certainly encouraged listeners to consider more how to safely enjoy the benefits of technology.
The presentation took place within the framework of international Erasmus+ project called 'Safe Internet For All'. More events to promote the theme of the project are scheduled for April 2016 short-term meeting in Poland.
